Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain Kaikobad on Tuesday stressed the need to ensure the highest standard of services for Hajj pilgrims and to complete all preparations for the 2026 Hajj smoothly and efficiently.
He made the remarks at a meeting on Hajj and Umrah management with the executive committee members of the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) at the ministry conference room.
The minister said all necessary activities must be completed promptly to ensure a well-organised Hajj management system, urging all concerned to work diligently so that pilgrims do not face any hardship.

Earlier, HAAB Secretary General Farid Ahmed Mazumder placed several recommendations and demands regarding Hajj and Umrah management.
Kaikobad listened to the proposals attentively and assured that necessary steps will be taken in accordance with existing rules and regulations.
Among others present at the meeting were Religious Affairs Secretary Munshi Alauddin Al Azad and HAAB President Syed Golam Sarwar.
