Ramesh Chandra Sen, a former minister and MP from Thakurgaon-1 constituency, tested positive for Coronavirus on Wednesday but he has doubts over the test report.
Civil Surgeon of the district Dr Mahfuzar Rahman Sarkar said a medical team of Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College collected samples of Ramesh Chnadra, former Water Resources and Food Minister, on August 3 and the result came out on Wednesday evening.
MP Ramesh has been self-isolating at home and is doing well, said Dr Mahfuzar.
“I’ve no fever and breathing problem…I’m doing well. I’ve doubt over the test results …I’ll send my samples to the hospital again today,” said Ramesh Chandra.
Officials said 437 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the district and 272 of them have full recovered.
