A farm worker was killed after a hay-laden locally made vehicle lost control and overturned in Joypurhat.
The deceased was identified as Mehedi Hasan, 23, son of Rezaul Karim of Burail village in Khetlal upazila.
He worked at a cattle farm in Helkunda village of Sadar upazila.

The accident occurred in the Helkunda Bazar area under Joypurhat Sadar upazila on Monday afternoon.
Confirming the incident, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Joypurhat Sadar Police Station, Nure Alam, said Mehedi had purchased hay from Joypurhat town and was transporting it to the farm by a locally made vehicle named ‘votvoti’ to feed cattle.
The vehicle suddenly lost control and overturned in the Helkunda Bazar area, leaving him critically injured.
He was rescued and taken to Joypurhat General Hospital, where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
