In the workshop, 150 individuals had been selected from more than 500 registered applicants coming from different districts of the country, including Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Sylhet and Khulna. A total of 14 teams were formed with the participating candidates. Out of these 14 teams, the best 3 teams will be selected after various skill tests and then these startups will be funded and arranged to participate in the MIT Solve 2021 Global Challenge.

To train startups, FBCCI Tech C has entered into agreements with international educational institutions such as MIT in the United States, Accelerating Asia in Singapore, Seneca College in Canada and the University of Toronto in Canada. Participants in the FBCCI Virtual Solutions have worked on four themes: Resilient Ecosystem: preserving and strengthening the ecosystem along with carbon mitigation; Health Security and Pandemics: protecting people from health threats and outbreaks of disease; Equitable Classrooms and Learning Spaces: improving the learning environment for the next generation and Digital Inclusion for Economic Justice: effective solutions to ensure a fair connection between digital commerce and public services for everyone.

MIT Solve is a groundbreaking initiative of the world-renownedMassachusetts Institute of Technology that is capable of providing long-term solutions to important problems in today's world. Each year Solve designs four global challenges by stakeholder experts. In these challenges, the experts will choose the team that provides the most feasible solution to drive the transformational change. It then builds a global community of private, government and nonprofit leaders and helps build partnerships with solution providers. As a result of this partnership, the parties involved are able to exert their influence.
