The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has sought information from traders about those creating artificial crisis in the egg and chicken markets.
The federation administrator Hafizur Rahman informed traders that the information regarding the crisis creators will be given to the government and they will take action as per law.
The administrator said this while talking to raders during different market inspections on Sunday.
The Market Monitoring Cell of FBCCI collected updated information on egg prices and supply situation from traders. The administrator of FBCCI sought the cooperation of traders in this regard.
Later, Hafizur joined a meeting with Kaptan Bazar egg traders' multi-purpose cooperative society.
He sought the cooperation of wholesale and retail traders to keep the price of eggs reasonable.
Nazrul Islam, former president of Kaptan Bazaar Egg Traders Multipurpose Cooperative Society, said in order to keep the market stable, the cooperation of traders will continue in all the activities of FBCCI.
Khandkar Ruhul Amin, former director of FBCCI, other business leaders, representatives of Bangladesh Competition Commission, student coordinators, and others were present on the occasion.
