Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Serajul Alam Khan, one of the main organisers of the Liberation War.
In a condolence message on Friday, the Foreign Minister prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Serajul Alam Khan breathed his last around 2:30 pm on Friday while undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Widely known as "Dada" and "Dadabhai", Serajul was born on January 6, 1941.

He was a founding member of Swadhin Bangla Biplobi Parishad alias Nucleus. He founded and led Mujib Bahini (aka BLF) with Tofael Ahmed, Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni, and Abdur Razzaq.
