State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salauddin Tuku on Friday said the government is working to adopt more environmentally-friendly technologies in fisheries facilities across the country.
“Initiatives will be taken to implement eco-friendly technologies in other government fish farms across the country in phases,” he said, during his visit at a government fish seed production farm in Tangail.
The Minister also inaugurated a 20-kilowatt solar power system at the farm, according to a press release.
He said, “This solar-powered initiative will make the farm's electricity management more sustainable and cost-effective.”
