A huge fire broke out at the Secretariat premises in the early hours of Thursday, that is still raging despite 18 units of the Fire Service fighting to tame it.
The fire reportedly broke out at 1.52am on Thursday, and quickly spread through Building No.7 of the Secretariat.
The Fire Service initially dispatched some 9 firefighting units to try and bring it under control. That was later increased to 13, and then 18, but there was no sign of the fire coming under their control by 5am.
Videos started spreading on social media and news channels soon started covering it live.
