Vice President of India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) Shoeb Chowdhury on Thursday met Chief Coordinator of the upcoming G-20 Summit Harsh Vardhan Shringla in New Delhi, India.
Shringla is the immediate past External Affairs Secretary of the Indian government.
Shoeb Chowdhury, also Chairman of Editorial Board of The Asian Age, thanked Shringla for inviting Bangladesh to join the G-20 Summit from among the neighbouring countries of India.

India is at present Bangladesh’s third largest export destination by virtue of cooperation from both sides which has been prevailing since the birth of Bangladesh in 1971, Shoeb Chowdhury said.
Shringla expressed hope that the bilateral friendly ties between Bangladesh and India will become more consolidated in days to come, said a media release.
He spoke high of the prevalence of communal harmony in Bangladesh since the country’s liberation in 1971.

Shoeb Chowdhury said Bangladesh government should make the best of their efforts to further strengthen affiliations with India in the current times too.
Shringla said India views Bangladesh as the closest neighbour and India holds in high esteem the relations between Dhaka and Delhi.
Shoeb Chowdhury said the alliance between India and Bangladesh stands on tested and proven grounds l, and India is one of the most trusted development partners of Bangladesh.
Later, Shringla presented a copy of his biographic book “Not an Accidental Rise: Harsh Vardhan Shringla” to Shoeb Chowdhury.
