Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Anis Matta on Thursday expressed Indonesia’s interest to work closely with Bangladesh for greater economic cooperation beyond traditional business engagements.
He met State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam at her office and discussed issues of mutual interest.
Referring to the existing excellent relations between the two countries, State Minister Shama underscored the importance of deepening bilateral trade.
She urged Indonesia to import more Bangladeshi products.
She also emphasised greater cooperation among women entrepreneurs of the two countries.
