He came up with the request while addressing a press briefing at Awami League President’s political office at Dhanmondi in the evening.
He said he requested all parties to shun their differences and unite for the people as the country fights to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
“It’s not time for blame game,” he said. “Rather it’s time to fight the great crisis as one.”
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been leading the fight against coronavirus from the front since the first case was detected in the country, Mahmud said.
Meanwhile, 10 more people died from coronavirus in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning, taking the death toll in the country to 120.

Besides, 390 more people tested positive for coronavirus during the period, raising the number of confirmed cases to 3,772.
