Sylhet, Mar 8 (UNB) – A mobile court here on Thursday fined International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) temple Tk 27,500 for cutting hills illegally.
HafizurRahman, assistant director of Department of Environment (DoE), Sylhet, said the a team of DoE conducted a drive at Kajalshah in the city and found that the ISKCON authority cut a portion of a hill illegally for erecting boundary wall.
Later, the mobile court fined them.
