The ‘Mujib Borsho’ programmes include offering of special prayers in more than 78,000 places of the country.
Special prayers will be offered at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after zohr prayers on March 17 seeking salvation of the departed souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members.
Besides, prayers will also be held at 64 divisional/district offices of Islamic Foundation, at 73,768 centres of 508 upazila/zone Mosque-based Children and mass education project, 550 Model Resource Centre, 1,500 General Resource Centre, 555 Model Library, 1010 Darul Arkam Madrasha, 50 Islamic Mission Centre, 465 ‘Moktob’ and 7 Imam Training Academy in 78,478 places.
Besides, Quran Khawani will be arranged at Baitul Mukarrum National Mosque on March 17 seeking peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and his family members. 100 Quaren Hafez will conduct the Quran Khawani.
On the other hand, Quran Khawani will be arranged and special prayers will be offered at
Anderkilla Jame Masjid and Jamiatul Falah Mosque of Chattogram and Hatem Khan mosque of Rajshahi.
A seminar titled “Role of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in establishing brotherhood among the Muslim Ummah and protecting rights of all religions” will be organised in eight divisions”. Islamic scholars from home and abroad will take part in it.
