Islamic University (IU) Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari took part in an international webinar on 'The new norms in higher education amid pandemic Covid-19' on Wednesday.
Malaysia Kelantan University (UMK) organised the webinar in the morning where the IU VC delivered the keynote speech.
UMK's Entrepreneurship and Business faculty Dean Professor Dr Rosalina Binti Ahmed Saufi conducted the webinar attended by educators, professors and policy makers from different parts of Malaysia.
Addressing the webinar, IU VC shed lights on educational technologies and their applications for continuing academic affairs during the crisis of Covid-19 worldwide.
He also highlighted policies and planning taken by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni and University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh.
