Yasmin has become talk of the country after her indecent video in the former DC’s room became viral. She came to the guest room at 10am on Monday after submitting her leave application. She fell to the ground after waiting for a while. The colleagues present there however helped her recover. Immediately after that, she left the DC office.

Replying to queries of the newsmen today (Monday), Rajib Kumar Sarker, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Jamalpur said, “Office assistant Sanjida Yasmin Sadhona submitted application for 3-day leave from August 27 due to illness and her application was accepted. New DC after joining his duty will take decision about her.”

Departmental action was taken against former DC Ahmed Kabir for indecency exposed by the video that went viral on social media, but till now no departmental action has been taken against Sanjida Yasmin.

The objectionable video was posted from the Facebook ID of one Khandker Sohel Ahmed on Thursday night (August 22). Severe criticism and discussion came up in the social media since Friday morning following the acts of the DC exposed in the video, that ran to nearly half an hour in two parts. However, the video could not be found on that ID from Friday morning.

However, the video has already gone viral in Facebook Messenger.

On Sunday, Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Kabir was withdrawn from Jamalpur and made OSD in Public Administration Ministry. On the other hand, Public Administration Ministry issued notification appointing PS (Deputy Secretary) of Planning Minister Mohamamd Enamul Haque as new Deputy Commissioner of Jamalpur and District Magistrate.
