Joules Power Ltd Managing Director Nuher Latif Khan has been laid to rest at Banani Army Graveyard in Dhaka.
Earlier, his namaz-e-janaza was held at Baridhara Diplomatic Zone Zam-e-Masjid after Asr prayers on Saturday.
Nuher breathed his last on the morning of January 14 due to a severe heart attack. He was 42.
Nuher was the founder and managing director of Desh Energy Ltd. Under his leadership, the company developed a portfolio generating 110 MW of electricity, comprising liquid fuel and gas-based power plants.

After leaving his role at Desh Energy Ltd. in 2013, he shifted his focus to renewable energy and founded Joules Power Limited (JPL). As JPL MD, Nuher implemented Bangladesh’s first 20MW AC utility-scale, national grid-tied solar power plant at Teknaf.
During his short life, he also developed another 20 MW AC grid-tied solar project at Muktagacha, along with several rooftop OPEX portfolios.
