Jahangirnagar University (JU) student and senior vice president of Jatiya Chhatra Shakti Ahsan Labib has been named acting president of the organisation, following the sudden resignation of its central president Zahid Ahsan.
Zahid resigned citing personal reasons, said a statement signed by the organisation’s Office Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman on Wednesday night.
