Gazipur, Oct 11 (UNB) – Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan on Friday sought everyone’s assistance to keep 465 railway stations of the country clean.
“It’s not possible for the government to do this alone,” he said while inaugurating a 90-day cleanliness programme at Joydebpur Rail Junction organised by BD Clean.
He said the government has been working to provide world class services, adding that the passengers should be conscious about keeping the railway stations clean.
Bangladesh Railway Director General Shamsuzzaman, railway east zone’s Administrator Nasir Uddin, Gazipur Deputy Commissioner Tariqul Islam, Railway Police Superintendent Mohiul Islam, among others, attended the programme.
