Additional District and Sessions Judge Md Abdur Rahim also fined the convicts Tk 100,000 each. Those sentenced to death are Kashem, Nazrul, Liton and Sattar. Besides, Siraj Uddin, Khokon, Shahed and Klantu Mia

According to case statement, the convicts robbed Abdur Rahman’s house in Singua village of Karimganj upazila on April 22, 2006.

They hacked Rahman to death as he tried to obstruct the robbers.
