At least 15 workers were injured as a lift of a garment factory collapsed in Chandgaon area of Chattogram city on Wednesday.
Ataur Rahman Khandakar, officer-in-charge of Chandgaon Police Station, said the accident took place in a factory of KDS Group around 12:30 pm.
The lift collapsed when the workers got into it for going to the ground floor, leaving the 15 injured.
After giving first aid, four of them were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, he added.
