Protesters have demolished Bogura district unit offices of Awami League and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD-Inu) after vandalising and setting these on fire, said witnesses on Friday.
The mayhem began at 8pm on Thursday and continued late into the night in the presence of thousands of people. But there was no presence of the law enforcers.
Witnesses said that the protesters first entered the premises of Chief Judicial Magistrate Court and smashed the nameplate of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with hammers at 6:30pm on Thursday.
By 8pm, some 500 protesters marched through Station Road and Nawabbari Road, chanting slogans and vandalised the Awami League office on Temple Road and set it on fire.

At 10pm, a crane was brought in to demolish the Awami League office and the personal office of Awami League leader Sultan Mahmud Khan Roni.
Following this, protesters attacked the nearby JSD district office, ransacked the premises, and set furniture and other items on fire before bringing in a crane at midnight to demolish the building.
At the same time, the Jatiya Party office on Thana Road was also vandalised and set ablaze.
