Gonoforum MP Mokabbir Khan, who had been undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka for coronavirus infections, returned home on Sunday as his condition improved.
Talking to UNB, Mokabbir said, “I returned home around 2pm today (Sunday) as my fever subsided and breathing and other problems reduced significantly. As I almost recovered from the illness, doctors allowed me to return home.”
The MP said he is now in self-isolation at his home.
Asked whether he tested negative for the coronavirus, Mokabbir said he will undergo the follow-up test a few days later.
On June 15, he was admitted to the CMH with fever, cough and breathing problem.
Soon after his admission, the MP’s samples were collected at the CMH for coronavirus test, and the report was found positive for the virus.
