The plaintiff's lawyer Faisal Bin Asad confirmed the filing of the case.
According to the statement, Monir Hossain took his son Tahsin to LabAid Hospital on March 27 as Tahsin had been feeling ill for some time. Dr Saifullah of LabAid Hospital advised to admit Tahsin immediately to the hospital.
After admission, Tahsin underwent surgery on March 28. But his health started deteriorating after surgery.

When asked about this, Dr. Maksud told the plaintiff that the surgery was not successful. To cure the patient, the operation would have to be done again.
Thereafter Tahsin underwent a second surgery on April 6. Even then his condition continued to deteriorate.
The victim died on June 23 after three months of treatment. He was given 144 bags of blood in three months.
The hospital authorities billed the family around Tk 27 lakh as medical expenses.
Monir Hossain said, “I have asked Dr Saifullah many times what is my son's problem. But he could never say anything right. I am 100 percent sure that he mistreated my son.”
