Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun on Thursday called for concerted efforts to sustain entrepreneurs and employment in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) sector during the coronavirus pandemic.
He made the remarks at a webinar organised by SME Foundation and Feiedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES).
The livelihoods of many people were exposed to challenges as the pandemic severely hindered production and distribution, he said.
We need to work collectively to protect the entrepreneurs and employment in the sector, he said.
