Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari on Friday shed light on the growing momentum of economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Nepal, owing largely to the recently realized energy trade and the increasing tourism linkages.
Acknowledging the vital role of the business communities, the Ambassador sought efforts from the Bangladeshi participants to build partnerships with their Nepali counterparts to strengthen cooperation in areas of trade, energy, tourism, and connectivity, among others.

He was speaking at a programme on “Nepal-Bangladesh Cooperation: Dynamics of Trade, Tourism, and Connectivity” organized by the Embassy in Khulna in the evening.
Second Secretary Yojana Bamjan made a presentation highlighting key areas of bilateral cooperation.
Queries and concerns of the participants were addressed in an interactive session following the presentation.
Police Commissioner of Khulna Md. Zulfikar Ali Haider, Additional Divisional Commissioner Debprosad Paul, Administrator of Khulna Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nurul Hai Mohammad Anas, and representatives of travel and tour entrepreneurs based in Khulna also spoke.
