This year, Chapainawabganj district administration has not set a specific timeframe for mango harvesting and marketing.
However, mangoes can be harvested when they ripen and can be marketed accordingly. Strict actions will be taken against anyone attempting to sell under-ripe mangoes.
The decisions were taken at a meeting held at the district collectorate building on Thursday.
The meeting focused on establishing a mango calendar, ensuring safe and chemical-free mango production, and discussing its marketing and commercialization.
