A man was killed and six others were injured in a clash between two groups over land in the Radhanagar union of Gomostapur upazila on Wednesday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Abdus Sattar, son of Manjur Hossain from the Begpur area of the upazila.

According to the police, Sattar died around 7pm while undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Police and locals said that a clash broke out between the two sides over the possession of state-owned land in the Begpur area of the union, where seven individuals from both sides were injured.

Six of the injured were admitted to the Upazila Health Complex and later referred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. Among them, Abdus Sattar succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
"Efforts are underway to apprehend the culprits involved in the incident," said Gomostapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khairul Bashar.
