The first session of the current parliament will resume on Sunday with its 3rd sitting at 3:00pm after a 14-day break.
The agenda for Sunday's business include discussion on the thanksgiving motion over the President’s speech delivered on the very first day of the maiden session of the 13th parliament.
There will also be a question-and-answer session over the Local Government Division, Rural Development and Cooperatives Division, the Youth and Sports Ministry, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Election Commission and the President’s office.

Besides, a discussion may be held on notices placed by three lawmakers, calling attention of the Parliament to matters of urgent public importance in line with the Section 71 of the Rules of Procedure.
Earlier on March 12, the 13th Parliament began its five-year journey with its first session, just a month after the February 12 general election.
On March 15, Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram, adjourned the session until March 29 after only two sitting business due to the Eid-ul Fitr vacation.
During the current session, a total of 50-hour discussion will be held on the thanks-giving motion over the President’s speech.
