The ongoing restriction on the movement of passengers through the land ports between Bangladesh and India has been extended till July 14.
However, cargoes will continue to operate.

Bangladesh nationals stranded in India who qualify and are willing to return to Bangladesh have to obtain no objection certificates to cross the borders on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays by 2:30pm (Indian time), said the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agrtala on Wednesday.

In compliance with the lockdown declared by the government of Bangladesh, Indian Visa Application Centers across Bangladesh will remain closed from July 1, 2021 till further notice.
However, all emergency travel requests will be considered even during this lockdown, said the Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
