State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian urged the employers to pay wages, bonus and arrears of the workers within July 19.
"Garments and other industry’s workers and owners can coordinate on the decision of taking the due leaves with government holidays for Eid ul Azha," she said.
The State Minister said this while attending a meeting with the Tripartite Consultative Committee (TCC) on RMG on Tuesday.

“Field officers of the Ministry have been directed to motivate workers aged 35-years and above to get the Covid-jab under mass inoculation campaign," she said.
Soon workers aged below 35 years will be vaccinated too, she added.

She suggested the workers not to rush taking life risks while going home during the holidays as the government has eased the lockdown from July 15 to 22 for the safe movement of people.
Minister Monnujan Sufian urged the workers to wear mask and maintain the health rules to keep themselves and their families safe.
