After getting conditional permission from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), established hotels and restaurants in the capital have started selling iftar items.
The DMP allowed shops and restaurants to sell Iftar items from Tuesday on conditions that vendors and consumers would follow hygiene and a safe distance.

Customers are seen buying iftar items from a restaurant flouting guidelines on social distancing. However, some were seen abiding by the directive while some others did not pay any to it.
