Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Sunday appreciated young innovator Sajjadul Islam of Moulvibazar after learning about a range of eco-friendly products developed by him.
During a meeting at the Secretariat, he also encouraged the innovator to continue his efforts to promote sustainable innovation using local raw materials, according to a release issued by the Prime Minister’s Press Wing.
Sajjadul – a student – briefed the Prime Minister on his inventions, including biodegradable polythene made from rotten and discarded vegetables, and corrugated sheets, tiles and boards produced from banana fibre.
