Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Wednesday urged students to develop themselves into skilled, capable and responsible citizens who can contribute to nation-building, and encouraged them to give equal importance to physical education, arts and cultural activities alongside their studies.
He made the call during a meeting with teachers and students from different educational institutions who visited Parliament before the start of the parliamentary sitting in the afternoon.
During the interaction, the Prime Minister exchanged greetings with the students and inquired after their studies.
Under a BNP government initiative, teachers and students from educational institutions across the country are being given the opportunity to observe parliament session.
