Ambassador of Bangladesh to Mexico, M. Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey, has said that under the charismatic leadership of the newly elected Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the country has begun a renewed democratic journey.
The Ambassador made the remarks at a farewell iftar and dinner he hosted ahead of his return to Dhaka in honour of fellow ambassadors and colleagues of the Bangladesh Mission in Mexico City.
The gathering was attended by the ambassadors of Côte d’Ivoire, India, Pakistan, Türkiye, and Indonesia, as well as diplomatic representatives from Iraq, Azerbaijan, and several other countries.

Held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, the event provided an opportunity for members of the diplomatic community to extend their best wishes to Ambassador Mushfique as he prepares to conclude his tenure in Mexico and return to Dhaka.
Welcoming the guests, Ambassador Mushfique expressed his sincere appreciation for the friendship, cooperation, and support extended by fellow diplomats during his time in Mexico. He noted that the spirit of collaboration within the diplomatic community had played an important role in strengthening both bilateral and multilateral engagements.
