PM mourns death of freedom fighter SM Yousuf


Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of advisory committee member of Brahmanbaria district Awami League and valiant freedom fighter SM Yousuf.

She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.

Yousuf, 75, breathed his last at 7am at Dhaka’s Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

He left his wife, one daughter, one son, and a host of relatives, colleagues and well wishers.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister and AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Yousuf.
