Dhaka, Aug 29 (UNB) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday morning received treatment at the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital in the city's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area.
“The Prime Minister went there at 8am and took treatment like a general patient by purchasing a Tk 10 ticket from the outdoor," her Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.
During the time, the Prime Minister enquired about the activities of the hospital and thanked its physicians and nurses, he said.
Sheikh Hasina had also received treatment from the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital in the past.
On July 22 last, the Prime Minister underwent a successful surgery in her left eye at a London hospital during her visit to UK.
