Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday enquired about the well-being of Begum Raushan Ershad, Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and also the chief patron of the Jatiya Party.
The opposition leader attended the parliament session for the first time on Wednesday, three days after her return home from about seven months of treatment in Thailand.
Before the start of the day's business, Hasina, also the Leader of the House, walked to Raushan and enquired about her health condition.

Chief Whip Noor E Alam Chowdhury and Awami League MP Matia Chowdhury were with the premier.
Later, Jatiya Party MP Fakhrul Imam, who took part in the discussion on an amendment proposal on the Finance Bill 2022, appreciated the PM’s gesture.
"This is the great beauty of parliamentary democracy,” he said.
