Sirajul Mostafa, assistant director of the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) in Cox’s Bazar, said they conducted a drive in a house rented by the accused cop at Mondalpara in Ramu upazila from 11pm to 1am on Tuesday after being tipped-off that Zahidul and others had been running drug peddling for a long time.

Means of taking Yaba pills and empty bottles of alcohol were found inside the house, Sirajul said.
A process was underway to file a case accusing the trio, the DNC official said.

The cop rented the house from the wife of Saudi Arabia expatriate Mobarak Hossain.
