Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar inaugurated the stamp worth Tk 10 during a programme as the Chief Guest in the capital.
Besides, marking the PM's birthday envelopes and data cards worth Tk 10 and Tk 5 respectively were also unveiled in the programme.
Initially the postage stamp and envelope will be available at the Philatelic Bureau of Dhaka GPO from Monday and later gradually it will be available in all GPO’s across the country.
After inaugurating the postage stamp, the Minister said the country has transformed into Bangabandhu’s golden Bangladesh with the contributions of Sheikh Hasina.
“The progressive image of Bengali nation has been upheld among the global community as the Prime Minister was born in this country.”, he said.
A special prayer was also operated wishing the Prime Minister’s sound health and longevity.
