President Abdul Hamid on Saturday expressed deep shock at the death of finance secretary of Mujibnagar Government Khandaker Asaduzzaman.
In a condolence message, he prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Asaduzzaman was also the former MP elected from Gopalpur-Bhuapur of Tangail
Besides, Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and Cultural Minister KM Khaled also expressed grief at the demise of Khandaker Asaduzzaman.
Khandaker Asaduzzamn breathed his last at 4:10pm at his home.
Asaduzzaman, the father of incumbent MP Aparajita Haque (Women Seat-20) and father-in-law of Chief Editor of Ekattor TV Mozammel Haque Babu, had a long been suffering from heart diseases, said a Parliament Secretariat handout.
