President Abdul Hamid expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Dhaka-5 MP Habibur Rahman Mollah.
In a condolence message, the President described him as a leader of the masses and said his demise has created a vacuum in the county's political arena which will remain void.

The President prayed for the salvation of his departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Meanwhile, Road, Transport and Bridges Minister and also General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) Obaidul Quader also mourned his death and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
Habibur Rahman Mollah died in a city hospital on Wednesday morning at the age of 82.
