Road, Transport and Bridge minister Obaidul Quader on Friday called on the people of the country to keep faith in Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as she is working day-night to curb the prices of essential commodities including rice and oil.
“The price of oil, rice and essential commodities will come down very soon. Don't misunderstand Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Keep faith in her,” he said.
Obaidul Quader said this while addressing a peace and development rally organized by Sonargaon Thana Awami League at Kanchpur in Narayanganj on Friday afternoon.

Quader said, “Mirza Fakhrul said they will make Dhaka paralysed. We want to say that the BNP will be paralysed by the people of the country in future. This Narayanganj is enough to restrain the BNP. ”
Calling on the BNP to forget about the caretaker government, the minister said that the caretaker government has died and now it has become a ghost.
“Come to the election. Otherwise you people will lose everything,” he added.

He said the G-20 conference in India and selfie with the Prime Minister in the USA make everything clear…Now BNP is burning from the inside.
“There is no scope of any further compromise with BNP. They are the enemy of the people. Awami League will not compromise with people’s enemy,” he added.
Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi, Awami League Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Dhaka Divisional AL Organising Secretary Mirza Azam, Organizing Secretary SM Kamal Hossain, Narayanganj-4 MP Shamim Osman, Narayanganj-2 MP Nazrul Islam Babu, Jubo League Central General Secretary Moinul Hasan Nikhil and many others were present at the rally.
