Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Wednesday said private participation along with the government would help overcome the coronavirus crisis.
He came up with the remark while briefing this morning.
“It's a matter of hope that the rich have come forward for the welfare of the country at this time. Many are contributing to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. Many have stood by the unemployed and extremely poor people on their own initiative.
“I thank all the people and organisations who have stood by the people in this time of crisis.”

He said Bashundara Group has come forward on humanitarian grounds. It has built a huge hospital for coronavirus treatment.
He thanked Bashundhara Group for coming forward in tackling coronavirus crisis.
