The Public Administration Reform Commission is set to recommend the creation of separate divisions for Cumilla and Faridpur.
Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and a member of the Commission, made this announcement during an exchange of views with journalists on Tuesday at the Secretariat.
He said, "One of the major recommendations of the Commission is to create divisions for Faridpur and Cumilla. In response to demands from these regions, we are advising the formation of two separate divisions."

"To establish these divisions, a few districts may need to be shifted from one division to another. We have already prepared a map for this purpose," he added
Mokhlesur Rahman said that several other recommendations have been made based on public requests.
"We have clustered similar issues on Google, indicating how many thousands of people have supported or demanded specific actions," he added.
The meeting was also attended by the Commission's Chairman, Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, and other members.
