In its 24-hour forecast starting 9am, the Met Office said, thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymenshingh and Sylhet divisions.
One or two places in Dhaka, Khulna and Cumilla divisions are also likely to be hit by rain.
A trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area, it said.
The weather will remain dry elsewhere over the country while day temperature may rise (1-2)°C and night temperature may also increase slightly over the country.

Bangladesh has been struggling with coronavirus pandemic while farmers all over the country faced a big blow while harvesting boro paddy this year due to labour shortage.
Meanwhile, Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque on Tuesday said farmers have already harvested 90 percent of Boro paddy in haor areas and 25 percent across the country.
