Waleed El Khereiji, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia, has met Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud in Kampala, Uganda and discussed issues of mutual interest.
El Khereiji congratulated Dr Mahmud for assuming his new role as Foreign Minister of Bangladesh.

The two dignitaries discussed various issues of mutual interest including enhancing trade, investment and connectivity between the two brotherly nations.
The Foreign Minister led the Bangladesh delegation to the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
He is also leading the delegation at the Third South Summit of G77.

Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen; Bangladesh Permanent Representative to the UN, Muhammad A Muhith; and Bangladesh High Commissioner to Kenya and Uganda, Tareque Muhammad, among others, are accompanying the Foreign Minister.
