The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification to this end on Thursday.
According to the notification, he will serve in the role on a contractual basis from the date of joining until the end of the prime minister’s tenure or until further notice, whichever comes earlier. His rank has been fixed at Grade-2.
The notification also said he will have to relinquish any other profession, business or employment with any government, semi-government or private organisation.
