A man was reportedly stabbed to death by his son in Tangail Saturday morning over family disputes.
The deceased was identified as Kuddus Pramanik, 65.
The son, 30-year-old Lutfar Rahman, surrendered to the police immediately after killing his own father on Saturday morning.
Officer in Charge of Tangail Sadar Police Station Meer Mosharrof Hossain confirmed the information to UNB.

Quoting locals, the OC said that the son and his father locked into an altercation over family matters in the morning.
At one stage, Lutfor stabbed his father, critically wounding him in the process.
He died on the way while being taken to a medical facility by the neighbours.

They both were van drivers by profession, the OC said.
The body of the victim is currently at the morgue of Tangail General Hospital for autopsy,
“A case will be filed over the matter,” the OC added.
