Members of the Bangladesh Police are working on the frontline amid coronavirus outbreak in the country risking their lives.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is also gave much importance to safety of all police members and healthcare for those who tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Thee ventilators were taken from Barind Medical College and Hospital (BMCH) in Rajshahi, which was established by M Shahriar Alam’s father Md Shamsuddin.
Meanwhile, the state minister personally bought the N95 masks from China and handed over for safety of police members.
Shahriar's brother Md Saiful Alam, the director of BMCH, was also present there.

Altogether 1,509 police members got infected with coronavirus as of Saturday while performing their duties during the pandemic. Among them, 708 are from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) alone.
In the meantime, Bangladesh Police has hired 250-bed Impulse Hospital in Dhaka for the treatment of coronavirus infected police members.

Bangladesh on Monday reported the highest number 1,034 coronavirus cases.
The country has so far reported 15,691 coronavirus cases and 239 deaths.
