‘The Intra-Sports SUST Football Tournament – 2025’ at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) concluded on Thursday with an exciting final match between ‘Hawkaw FC’ and ‘Sweet Sixteen’.
The tournament, which began with the auction on August 26 and the opening match on August 29, featured a total of 8 teams and over 100 players.
After thrilling group stage and semi-final matches, Hawkaw FC emerged as the champion of the tournament, while Sweet Sixteen finished as the runner-up.
Individual awards went to:
Best Emerging Player: Sabbir
Best Goalkeeper: Emon
Top Scorer: Sowad
Man of the Final: Alamgir
Man of the Tournament: Habib
The prize-giving ceremony was graced by Sports SUST Advisor and FET Associate Professor Afzal Hossain, CEP Professor Saiful Alam Amin, and Nowrin Khanom Arna, Vice President of the Sports SUST 10th Executive Committee and Lecturer of the CEP Department.
Former members of Sports SUST were also present.

The dignitaries lauded the successful organization of the tournament and appreciated the players’ skill, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the event.
